Even though we cherish our work, our love for our families and supporting our local community is at the heart of everything we do. We make a conscious effort to look out for each other and ensure we are the best versions of ourselves personally and professionally. One of the ways we do this is by giving back to our local community. We proudly support organizations such as ‘Read the Play’ and ‘Geelong Mums’ who contribute so much value to individuals in the district. Recently, we have begun a sponsorship with a nearby school Mirapoa Primary who have created an excellent foundation in supporting and educating the young minds of Mount Duneed.
The disruption to the workforce as a result of the global pandemic was catastrophic, particularly for small businesses. We acknowledge that we were privileged to continue working throughout the various lockdowns in Victoria, whilst others were not so lucky. We encouraged our 8,500+ connections to support small businesses by providing a regionalized list of local cafes, restaurants, delis, butchers and grocers whose livelihood relied on the loyalty of patrons. Pandemic or not, we will continue to advocate for our community and the hundreds of businesses that bring us joy every day.
